ENGAGEMENT

Love is in the air...

Congratulations! The two of you decided. It may have been a few days ago, or a few decades. But you've made the decision to share life's journey with each other. And whether your love is exciting and new, or established and dependable, capturing it through professional photographs will yield something you and your family will cherish forever.

Each couples / engagement session begins with a consultation. It is my opportunity to get to know the two of you as a couple and to answer any questions you might have for me. During the consultation, we will discuss your style preferences, talk through the different location options for the session and set a schedule.

While I'm the one behind the camera, I don't just want to take photos of you and your partner, I want to create art with you. So any ideas, feedback or suggestions you have are most welcome.

Whether you've just gotten engaged, are nearing an anniversary or have no reason at all aside from a desire to honor your love for one another, make the decision right now to celebrate your special journey you're on together.

And for you guys out there, wondering what to give her for that upcoming birthday, anniversary or holiday, the gift of a couples session to celebrate your relationship will have her forgetting your shortcomings for at least 6 months. If you wear what she tells you to wear during the session, you might even stretch it to a year.

The Process

The process always begins with a consultation (either in person or by phone) during which I get to learn about the two of you, and can answer any questions you have. We will discuss your style preferences, wardrobe, schedule, location, the various formats for receiving the images (prints, wall art, albums, high-resolution digital files, etc.) and anything else that comes to mind. I don't want to just take photos of you. I want to create art with you. So any ideas you have for the session are most welcome.

My sessions are not timed. I want to end the shoot after we've captured a collection of amazing images, not when the clock strikes an arbitrary time.

Approximately 1-3 weeks after the session (once I've edited/retouched the images), you will be invited into my studio for a reveal. This will be the first time you will see your finished pictures, and will be when you select the ones you wish to take home with you to enjoy for generations.
